The Jack Armstrong Nature Trail was completed in the summer of 2012. The trail is an easy but beautiful trail that has many places to stop and rest and take in the beauty of the outdoors!!! Starting from inside of the campground or from the riverfront, this trail has everything any hiker would enjoy without needing to leave the campground. We invite you to go enjoy the Jack Armstrong Natural Trail on your next visit to Warrensburg Travel Park & Riverfront Campground!
The Jack Armstrong Nature Trail was built so every camper at Warrensburg Travel Park & Riverfront Campground would have the opportunity to get back to nature right on our own grounds. We are only minutes from Lake George Village. The Jack Armstrong Nature Trail offers kids and adults the opportunity to discover backwoods conservatory items such as many different types of birds, fish, plants, flowers, frogs and reptiles. The Jack Armstrong Nature Trail is away from the main part of the campground, so you feel alone with nature. If you need a nice walk and want to get away from it all then the Jack Armstrong Nature Trail is for you. You may get lucky enough to see the Blue Heron that is flying around and drinking from one of the ponds on the Jack Armstrong Nature Trail. Grab your fishing pole and sit on one of the benches along the river’s edge while your waiting for your favorite fish to bite.
Besides hanging out on the Jack Armstrong Nature Trail, camping at Warrensburg Travel Park & Riverfront Campground offers so many other things to do such as tubing, kayaking, canoeing and boating. We have so much to offer you won’t need to go anywhere else! We love making your vacation stay as memorable as possible!
