Camping in the Adirondacks has always given me and my family a sense of enjoyment, peace, and rest! My campground of choice has been Warrensburg Travel Park off exit 23. I began camping there a few years ago. The initial draw was the in ground pool. However, after my 1st weekend, I was hooked. The beautiful serene waters to tube and swim in, the playground for the kids, and some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life! Over the years the owner has enhanced the campground experience by offering the campers wonderful amenities! Add to that a beautiful pavilion to host games under, Saturday night “movie nights” (great for the kids), or just sit and watch a volleyball game in the sun. If you need a break from the stress and rat race, do yourself a favor and book a weekend at Warrensburg Travel Park. You will feel like a new person and your only thought after you leave is, “when can we go back”?

My family and I have been here at Warrensburg Travel Park for years. We find it very pleasant and enjoyable. The new electric, cable, internet, restrooms with showers and the list goes on. Best of all the owner is someone who cares about the campers and is visible. Being a fisherman, this location is perfect because I am within 20-25 miles of five (5) excellent lakes and numerous ponds. The friendly nature of the campers here makes this place like heaven!

—————————————————————————————————– Warrensburg Travel Park was a wonderful surprise after visiting many of the local campgrounds in years past. We were driven right to our site and assisted by the staff there in getting our RV in place, which I’ve never had anywhere else. Our children enjoyed the activities available and we enjoyed knowing they had a safe, clean and fun place to keep them busy, while we enjoyed relaxing and spending some quality time with our friends and family. highly recommend this campground to anyone! “We Work here (3 years now) and may be a little biased but can attest to the fact that the owners have put a pile of money into upgrading the facility since purchasing it and are committed to families having a good time and a great camping experience. The electric has been upgraded. There is free cable and Wi-Fi to every site (even the tent sites!) and a ton of activities each and every weekend. Choose a campsite on the river or under the tall pines. Enjoy the pool or sandy beach, visit the well-stocked store and electronic game room. There is the ball field, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, tractor-pulled hay wagon rides, Saturday night DJ and community bonfire. We are Snowbirds and visit around 30 campgrounds each year and can safely say Warrensburg Travel Park ranks as one of our favorites.” We stayed this past Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic time! Overall the weather was pretty darn good considering rain was called for, the whole weekend. A few mosquitoes, but expected as it did rain a little and they love it when it is wet out. The arcade was nice! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. The mini golf wasn’t open yet, but was not advertised anywhere as open. When we checked in the staff told us it was under construction and should be open soon for 2014. There is so much to do with the heated in-ground pool, 1 mile of river frontage, horseshoes, nature trail, etc. The people in the park were also very friendly. Our battery died in our car and they quickly helped us get it jump started. We will definitely be coming back to this campground.
